ISRO is set to launch its first X-Ray Polarimeter Satellite, offering insights into celestial objects like black holes. This launch follows the success of the Gaganyaan Test Vehicle D1 mission in October. The PSLV-C58 rocket will carry the XPoSat payload and 10 other satellites to be deployed in low Earth orbits. The mission aims to investigate the polarisation of intense X-ray sources in space and will contribute to the scientific fraternity and the study of X-ray polarisation internationally.
